Dr. Seuss
And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store? What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more?

Something about an old-fashioned Christmas is hard to forget.

Like the photo and then the quote by Larry Wilde. Also like the soft focus on the first photo, and the Hope quote.
I'm so far behind, I think I'm ahead! ;) Working on the family newsletter today, after finally getting everyone organized for a chilly family photo. We took about 5. The one in the letter will have to do, haha!
Very few stocking stuffers, but thankfully hubby is doing the major shopping this year! Hauling a double stroller around the mall leaves no hands for shopping!
Hope your family time is precious and meaningful this year! Love you!
Great pictures and perfect quotes to go along with them. I love that the whole family helps with the tree, somehow it ended up being my job a few years ago and I can barely get my guys to hang an ornament. humbug! I just turn on "Charlie Brown Christmas" and enjoy myself.
very very nice post. how did you get the "soft focus"? Barb
forgot to mention that I really love your decorated tree. Great shots of it. Barb
Lovely tree! I have perfected the art of the "barricade" to keep my dayhome kidlets from toppling the tree. We have to keep wooden and plastic away from the bottom branches so the goofy dog doesn't eat them. Haven't perfected a barricade for him yet. LOL.
SO beautiful. Your home always looks so warm and inviting. :)
Your tree is looking beautiful & what fun to all be together. We always decorate together - fun to see the homemade ornaments & ones the kids have collected over the years that relates to something they did or liked that year. Love the quotes too! The Christmas choir concert probably helped get you in the mood for Christmas too :)
